Einleitung
Use this guide to replace a damaged or broken taillight bulb on a 1999-2011 Ford Ranger.
The taillight bulb is located at the rear of the vehicle and lights up when the driver brakes or turns their signal on. A damaged or broken taillight bulb will remove those safety features of letting people around you know that you are braking or that you are turning. This can turn into a dangerous situation so it is crucial to replace these bulbs if they go out.
Before using this guide make sure to locate which taillight bulb is out and look to see if there are other bulbs out that you did not notice before that will need to be replaced.
Sometimes the truck will tell you when the bulb is burnt out because when you go to turn on your signal the truck will click really fast indicating that your bulb is burnt out and needs to be replaced.
Make sure to park the truck on a level surface and to turn the truck off during the whole process and to not start the truck back up until you’re done to see if the bulb works.
