Einleitung
If your 2008 Honda Civic does not have a functioning dome light or its light is flickering, use this guide to replace the dome light.
Before using this guide inspect the dome light. There are multiple reasons why the dome light may not be functioning. Some of these reasons include the bulb is loose, the bulb is burned out, a wiring issue, or a weak battery. Before replacing the bulb, try disconnecting and then reconnecting the car battery to see if the dome light functions again. If the dome light is still not functioning, use this guide to replace the dome light bulb.
Before beginning, make sure to disconnect the car battery to avoid a short circuit. Only reconnect the battery following step 7. Avoid touching the bulb with your bare hands as the oils from your hands can cause the bulb to degrade faster or shatter.
