The throttle body’s function is to regulate how much air enters your vehicle's engine depending on how far you press the gas pedal. More airflow equates to more power. The appropriate mixture of fuel and air is required for your engine to run smoothly and efficiently.

Use a 10mm socket to remove the negative terminal first (left) and then the positive terminal (right) of the battery.

Use a 10mm socket to remove the air duct.

Remove the hoses to the duct by squeezing the clamps.

Unplug any sensors connecting to the duct.

Using a 10mm socket, remove the 4 bolts connected to the throttle body.

Remove the throttle body.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
