Einleitung
A positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) plate increases the longevity of your oil by reusing unburnt gas. It is also required for emissions. When installing your PCV plate, there could be a faulty gasket creating an oil leak. If you notice an oil leak coming from your PCV plate, there is a good chance it is because the gasket isn’t sealing properly. This guide will walk you through how to properly replace the gasket.

Using a 1/4 inch flex head ratchet and a 1/4 inch shallow 10mm socket, loosen the battery cable tightening nut.

Remove the vacuum line from the front of the intake by gently pulling up on the line releasing it from the clamps.

Using a 1/4 inch 7mm deep socket and 1/4 inch flex head wrench, loosen the worm clamp on the cold air intercooler pipe.

Using a 1/4 inch 10mm wobbly socket, 1/4 inch 8 inch extension, and 1/4 inch ratchet, remove all 5 of the cap screws holding the intake to the cylinder head.

Reinstall the PCV plate on the side of the engine block.

Torque the PCV plate mounting bolts to 89 inch pounds.
