    • Place the laptop facing down and find the slider close to the battery.

    • Use a screwdriver or other pointed tool to slide it to the right.

    • While keeping the slider pushed to the right, use your other hand to pull the battery out from the right side to the left until it completely comes out.

    • Install the new battery with the little tabs facing the laptop. Although keeping the slider pushed to the right when installing the new battery is recommended, it is not necessary; the battery can be inserted until it clicks in place.
