Acer Aspire 4743-6481 Ram Card Replacement

Turn over the laptop to view the underside.

Use tweezers (or a similar tool) to slide the orange push pin. To release the battery, push it to the left.

You can lift the battery up and out now.

Remove three 7.0 mm screws with a Phillips head screwdriver from the back panel to gain access to the RAM cards.

Place the device with the battery side facing up, as shown on the picture.

After removing the back panel, you will see the RAM cards located to the right.

You should notice a silver tab on each side of the RAM card. Push each tab away at the same time to detach the card.

If done successfully, the RAM should pop out and you can lift it out with no effort.
