On the bottom side of the laptop, you will unlock the safety lock by sliding it towards the left.

Now, you'll hold this latch to the left. Everything is unlatched. The battery should feel free.

While continuing to hold the latch in the open position, use your other hand to push the battery away from the device to remove it.
