Einleitung

This guide will help the user to remove and replace a single key from the keyboard.

Please keep in mind that most of the parts to be removed are small, so do not displace them

  1. CjCpFZFe2CvFGj4X
    • Open the Computer so you have access to the keyboard and the screen.

  2. ldYnsO6JulayGG6X
    • Do not apply too much force while removing the key or the edge under the key will be pushed down, preventing replacement.

    • Use the plastic opening tool to lift the key from the right side until it comes off.

    • You will hear a pop, this is normal. In some cases the inner plastic part of the key will also come off.

    • Use the tweezers to remove the plastic brackets from the keyboard.

    • Picture two and three show the correct orientation of the plastic pieces and how they are connected.

  4. IXyIdOyojXkHodt1
    • Remove the round piece by taking the axils of the circular piece out of the holes located in the center of the square piece.

    • Make sure the circular piece correctly fits into the rectangular piece while laying flat. If it does not do this the circular piece is facing the wrong way and will need to be removed, turned around, and reconnected.
