Use this guide to replace the Acer Chromebook 15 CB3-532-C47C speakers. The left and right speakers share a common cable to the motherboard so it's not possible to replace only one; they must be replaced as a pair.
The speakers are responsible for amplifying sound from the computer that does not come from the headphone jack. Broken or faulty laptop speakers will produce distorted or missing audio, even when the sound is turned on and the volume is adjusted.
Review other possible solutions on the troubleshooting page before attempting to replace the speakers.
The battery was previously removed from the example device, and therefore the guide images will not match your device exactly. You do not need to remove the laptop battery from the device in order to replace the speakers.
Before beginning the replacement power off and unplug your laptop.
