If your Acer Chromebook Spin 11 (Model R751TN-C5P3) is not illuminating a clear picture on the screen, is pixelated, or is not exhibiting any visuals at all, use this guide to replace the LCD screen.

The LCD screen serves to produce the visual component of the device. A faulty LCD screen will not produce a clear picture or may not even produce a picture at all.

Prior to using this guide, ensure that your device is not currently overheated, or that it is not out of battery. Check this by carefully feeling your device for excess heat and ensuring that your power cord is properly charging your device before use.

The next step for fully replacing the LCD screen requires you to remove the back plating from behind the screen with a pick, and the old screen must be disconnected and properly replaced.

Before beginning, make sure that the device is completely powered off to avoid further damaging the device or harming yourself with heated components within the interior of the device.
