    • Remove the battery compartment lid by lifting upward.

    • Pull the ribbon to eject the 2 X AA alkaline batteries.

My acu-rite outdoor unit has 4 batteries, rather than 2. You need to be sure that each battery is correctly oriented when replacing them.
