Einleitung
Replace a commercial CO2 pump system for any aquarium with a DIY, eco-friendly method using this guide. The CO2 pump allows your aquatic plants in your aquarium tank to stay healthy and alive. The replacement allows the user better control over their CO2 pump output, as well as saving money on commercial CO2 pumps while helping the environment by reusing used objects.
You will need to add additional mix to the bottle periodically as the reactants are expended. Depending on how much mix you add, you should have to replace the mix every 4-6 weeks.
More details on devices used in this guide:
Airline Tubing: Used to manage where the CO2 flows.
Airline Tubing Adapter: Used to connect the Airline Tubing to the bottle’s lid. This guide uses a homemade airline tubing adapter, but a commercial version works in the same fashion.
CO2 Diffuser: Dispenses CO2 via the airline tubing.
