Einleitung

This guide will help you replace the fan and heat sink component of your laptop. You may want to do this if you notice the fan stop working. Be sure to follow this guide in a well lit room on a flat surface. Acquire the necessary tools before hand and have a cup or a magnetic plate to keep track of all the screws.

    • Unscrew the ten 10mm Phillips #0 screws.

    • Use the plastic opening tool along the side of the laptop to pry open.

    • Remove the seven 4mm Phillips #0 screws.

    • Gently pull the connector.

    • Lift the heat sink and fan assembly, and you are done!

    • There maybe a little resistance to being pulled up since the heat sink is attached to the CPU with thermal paste
