Is your Asus Transformer Pad (TF103C) not charging? Does the battery not last very long? This guide will walk you through the steps of replacing the battery of the Asus Transformer Pad.

Replacing the battery is relatively simple. It only takes 5 steps to complete. Very basic tools are required, but can be switched out for more common tools.

Remember, punctured batteries can cause dangerous fires, so use caution when handling the battery.

    • Make sure the power is off.

    • Insert the plastic opening tool into a crack on side of the tablet.

    • You can use a thin screwdriver if you don't have the opening tool.

    • Carefully pull the tool upwards to and pry open the Transformer pad.

    • Make sure the SD card slot is empty first.

Before beginning this procedure be sure that the micro SD card slot is empty otherwise damage may result.

To complete step 4, grab the wires close to the black housing as shown in the photo, and pull to slide all the cords out of the housing (as shown in the photo for step 5).

    • Carefully pry the battery out of the tablet with the opening tool.

    • Replace battery with a new +3.7V=19Wh Li-polymer Battery Pack C11P1328.

    • There may be some tape on the battery, so you may hear pulling as you pry.

There may be some double-stick tape helping to hold the battery in place, so do not be surprised if you hear the tape being pulled away from the batter as you pry.

My tab didn't turn on (stuck in booting limbo), didn't want to wait for a month or so till the battery dropped to 0%, so I tried this method instead. Done everything correctly. I'm sure I didn't screw up. Tablet won't start again (not even charging). I'm not sure if is either the faulty battery or the chipset attached to it. Either way, is a crappy tablet, never happened to lose a device so easily after a DIY repair. This would never happened if only Asus did insert reset buttons on their devices (or a soft reset button sequence). Will never buy an Asus tablet again.

Hi, i changed the battery, but now I have kind of a situation with this. My brand new battery is losing energy pretty fast , until 2%. When this reach 2% I can use the tablet for more than 10h with the screen on, or more. But if I use it for 2 h , in 2% , an then I close the screen for 5 minutes, the tablet shut down , and I can't open it until I put back the charger. Even though I have plenty of juice in the battery. How do I fix this ? Is there a way to recalibrate the software? I already tried to connect and disconnect the battery and charger back to 100. It doesn't work. I reinstalled the latest version of software. Doesn't work. Can anyone help me ?
