Einleitung
This guide shows how to replace the Wi-Fi chip from the motherboard of the Asus VivoBook. The Wi-Fi chip allows the laptop to wirelessly connect to internet. In rare cases, the Wi-Fi chip may need to be replaced if a power surge fries the chip or the chip itself is defective.

Using the JIS #0 Screwdriver, unscrew the ten 10 mm screws that hold the back casing in place

Insert the flat edge of the opening tool in between the back casing to remove the back casing.

Disconnect the black and white wires that provide power and data transfer to the Wi-Fi chip.
