    • Use a spudger to gently lift the connector tab between the battery and the circuit board

    • Gently remove the battery from the laptop.

    • Use a Phillips #0 Screwdriver to remove seven screws from the right half of the motherboard.

    • If you are unsure where the motherboard is located please try to refer to the picture as best as you can in order for it to help guide you along the way.

    I recommend adding a picture highlighting either the motherboard or at least the screws to be removed.

    • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the 5.0 mm screws from the fan and disconnect the fan port.

    • Use the screwdriver to remove remaining screws from the right side of the motherboard.

    • Remove the four screws from the Ethernet port and disconnect the Ethernet port.

    • Pull the motherboard to the left and upward to remove it from the laptop.

    • Again, if you are unsure where any of these sections are located please try to refer to the picture as best as you can in order for it to help guide you along the way.

    I again recommend highlighting at least the screws that are being removed. This step could be split in two, with the first two bullets in a single step and the second two in another.

    • Heat soldering to remove DC Jack in the six locations shown.

    • Please pay very close attention to what you're doing when heating the soldering, as this can cause injury if done so improperly.

    • Replace with new DC Jack and solder in to secure it.
