Einleitung

The Asus Vivobook S200E-RHI3T73 is a Windows 8 laptop, equipped with a 11.60-inch display that has a resolution of 1366x768 pixels. It also contains a RAM with 4GB and 500 GB of HDD storage. This form will guide you in the replacement of the DC Jack in your Asus VivoBook S200E-RHI3T73. Follow the instructions in order for the best results.

Schritt 1

Before repairing the device, be sure that it is powered off and unplugged.
Once the device has been powered off and unplugged, proceed to remove the five 8.0 mm Phillips screws using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.
Next, remove the four 5.0 mm Phillips screws using the Phillips #0 screwdriver.
Carefully remove the back of the laptop and set it aside.

Schritt 2

After removing the cover, proceed to remove the twelve 5.0 mm screws that are circled in red in the first picture.
Use a spudger to gently lift the connector tab between the battery and the circuit board
Gently remove the battery from the laptop.

Schritt 3

Use a Phillips #0 Screwdriver to remove seven screws from the right half of the motherboard.
If you are unsure where the motherboard is located please try to refer to the picture as best as you can in order for it to help guide you along the way.

I recommend adding a picture highlighting either the motherboard or at least the screws to be removed.

Schritt 4

Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the 5.0 mm screws from the fan and disconnect the fan port.
Use the screwdriver to remove remaining screws from the right side of the motherboard.
Remove the four screws from the Ethernet port and disconnect the Ethernet port.
Pull the motherboard to the left and upward to remove it from the laptop.
Again, if you are unsure where any of these sections are located please try to refer to the picture as best as you can in order for it to help guide you along the way.

I again recommend highlighting at least the screws that are being removed. This step could be split in two, with the first two bullets in a single step and the second two in another.

Schritt 5

Locate the DC Jack on the motherboard.
Heat soldering to remove DC Jack in the six locations shown.
Please pay very close attention to what you're doing when heating the soldering, as this can cause injury if done so improperly.
Replace with new DC Jack and solder in to secure it.
