Einleitung

I have looked around on the internet for ages not being able to find a disassembly guide for my (Asus Zenbook flip UX562FA) anywhere. The only thing remotely close that I found was a guide about the Zenbook UX562 series in general. After a lot of trying and prying, I heard something snap (a single little ‘latch’ thingy? broke off of the back cover. No big deal really but still annoying). At this point I was certain there were some hidden screws somewhere and this is when I just decided to take off the rubber feet just to make sure. Turns out the UX562FA indeed has hidden screws under the rubber feet (all 4 of them). Because I want to make sure nobody else makes this little mistake.

    • Bright red arrows point to screws hidden underneath the rubber feet.

    • Absolutely no force is required! IF you have every screw removed (6 are visible immediately, 4 more are hidden underneath the rubber feet) the backpanel just comes loose and off. No need for prying or pulling.

    • I made this "rudimentary" guide because I myself couldn't find any real info online about this laptop model.
