This guide provides step by step information on properly replacing the revolve speaker. The tools needed to complete this installation properly are shown. Using these tools and following the instructions will help the owner get their Bose Soundlink speaker working again.

Hi,

I buy used revolve and change top board, battery, cable… everything working good but when you play music I hear some “vibrations” from speaker. Main speaker is ok when playing out of hausing. When I remove speaker from side (step11 of this page) vibration is gone out. If I put speaker on place vibrations is come. Do you have any idea what can causing this problem please?

Hi Martin,

Same issue on my side. The vibrations (especially for the basses) come from an air gap. You have to be very careful when you reassemble the device, especially for the speaker. I had have to replace the foamed tape.

Hope this will help

My experience is that the side speakers should seal properly otherwise the sound is distorted. Rupture on the membrane allowed an air stream coming out which is directly related to the distorted sound especially at the bass. I used Billy Ellish Bad Guy as a reference. I identified the side speaker to my local Bose service (BaSys, Hungary, thx) via the image in this description. They brought me a pair of speakers for~15eur in two weeks. On the package stands 357793-0010 which is probably the part number. I did the replacement according to the description with success.
