This guide is a quick solution to fix worn out roller skate wheels! Rather than spend lots of money on a new pair, just replace your old wheels to get your roller skates spinning smoothly again!

    • Use a 13mm wrench to loosen the nuts in the center of the wheel(s) that need to be replaced.

    • Remove the nuts from the axel.

    • Clean the axel thoroughly.

    • Thread the nut onto the axel on top of your wheel with your fingers.

    • Tighten the nut using the 13mm wrench.

    • Do not apply too much torque to the nut, as you may damage the bearings within the wheel.

    • Once you have it on there tightly, loosen it a little to allows your wheels to roll smoothly and not rub. Test your wheels by spinning them with your finger.

    • If the wheel wobbles a little on the axel, tighten the nut slightly. If the wheel doesn't spin smoothly, loosen the nut slightly.
