Einleitung

The hot shoe can become worn or dented, causing the external flash to become unstable. External flash devices are very expensive, and they would most likely break if they fell off of the hot shoe while the camera being used. Replacing a bad hot shoe is a quick and easy repair the ensures that the fancy and expensive external flash you own is securely attached to your camera.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. When tightening screws that hold the hot shoe in place, be very careful to not scratch the rail of the hot shoe. If the rail of the hot shoe has any scratches or dents, it can be more difficult to mount the external flash.

My hot shoe actually came off. I have ordered various sizes of screws to replace it but none work. I need a new hot shoe and screws. What size screws do I need with a canon rebel T2i camera?
