Use this guide to replace the LCD screen on your Canon EOS Rebel T3i.

    • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.

    • Hook your finger onto the compartment door latch.

    • Open the battery compartment door.

    • Remove the battery from the compartment.

    • Remove the two 3 mm Phillips #000 screws. The screws are on opposite sides of the screen.

    In addition to the 2 screws you pointed out, there are an additional 2 screws on the swivel side where it attaches to the camera. Without those 2 removed you cannot take the back off.

    • Remove the plastic backing.

    • Unplug the blue cable from the back of the LCD.

    • Remove the two 3 mm Phillips #000 screws.

    • Separate the LCD from the plastic housing.

    There are an additional 2 screws that need to be removed from the swivel part which keeps the LCD in place. Those 2 screws are only visible after you remove the backing. In total, there are 8 screws to remove to be able to take the LCD out. 4 to get the backing off, 4 to get the LCD detached from the housing.
