Use this guide to replace the screen of the Canon PowerShot S230. The guide focuses mainly on the removal of screws and display screen. Fairly simple.

    • Using a Phillips #0 head screwdriver, remove the screws on the outside casing of the camera.

    • Use a pry tool to open the outer casing of the camera and access the internal components.

    • Remove the screws on the copper facing from the front part of the camera. Beneath is a connection to the screen. Wiggle this connection to pull it out; it may take some force to do so.
