Take off outer cover, detach cable, and remove Release Button.

Squeeze the sides of the plastic connector while gently detaching the cable. Your shutter release button is now removed and can be replaced.

The shutter release button assembly should only be attached by a small red and black wire, with a plastic connector at the end.
