Einleitung

This guide will show how to remove and replace the Ink Cassette on the Canon Selphy CP720, and how to un-jam the part in case it is stuck.

    • Pull open the top of the cover on the right hand side of the printer, so that the Ink Cassette is exposed.

    • Lift the orange tab, which retains the Ink Cassette. If the Cassette is not jammed, it will eject automatically.

    • If the Ink Cassette is not jammed, this is the last step

    • Gently pry the Ink Cassette outward with the iFixit blue opening tool.

    • Only complete these steps if the Ink Cassette does not come out on step 3.

    • With the orange release tab still held back, gently pull on the Ink Cassette.

    • Reach into the printer with an iFixit blue opening tool and apply pressure to the black plastic plate under the Ink Cassette.

    • Pull the Cassette out slowly and smoothly.

    Referring my Canon Selphy cp760 ,even try push,press or pull ink cassette,nothing has been solved.

    At the end i completely dismantled the printer,pulling out all major components out of container..

    Control circuits has been disconnected, gently managing connectors,in order to access directly to mechanic assembly.

    Observing it ,even with ink cassette inside,i found the problem between left plastic joint of two ink cassette cylinders and the left

    Side of cut blade placed on rear of rolling cylinder in meccanica assemblea.

    Forcing position of mechanical parts named ,supported over left and right sides ,probably without lubrication from longtime,

    I obtained a regjular push-out of in cassette ,after press of related external button. .

    Re mounting all pieces in reverse order,non the in cassette can be inserted or extracted as needed.
