Einleitung
This guide will show you how to replace the keyboard of the HP Chromebook 14-x015wm. After continual use, the keyboard may become unresponsive, if this is the case it is fairly easy to replace the keyboard rather than get a new computer. This guide outlines opening the case to get access to the components which connect the keyboard.

Remove the small rubber circles over all four corners on the bottom of the chromebook.

Remove the three small additional rubber covers along edge of computer with hinge.

Unscrew all the screws on the bottom of the laptop using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.

Flip the laptop back over to the front and open it so that the keyboard is visible.

Use the iFixit opening tool to pry off the keyboard by placing the tool in-between the keyboard and the case. Move the tool around all sides until the keyboard separates.

Carefully unclip the ribbons under the keyboard to disconnect the keyboard.

Replace the keyboard and connect the ribbons to the new keyboard.

Press the computer case shut and replace the screws and rubber pads.
