Where do you find the replacement knobs?

Chris Reece -

im in same boat can't find the dials/knobs- 2 of mine are broken and useless

Cuisinart offers NO help. I will have to toss out a $100.00 unit over a $2.00 part.

I have several cuisinart appliances. I won't ever buy another. I need one replacement knob, the best they can do is 20 percent off on a new griddler . I can get that from bed bath and beyond. Thanks cuisinart, finding new brands. Cuisinart is dead to me.

My model is the 8n, but your diagram looks the same. I to can't find the replacement knobs! The machine still works fine, but the knobs have broken, and fall off the machine! Where do I find knobs? Thanks for any guidance.

Same comment. Any moron can figure out how to disassemble this appliance but without a source of parts for those that are broken then wtf? So Mr Genius……where the !&&* do we get some new knobs?

Same problem…..easy disassembly that a moron could do but without a source of replacement parts, in this case a new knob, what’s the use. Anyone out there know where some knobs can be found?

Where can i buy the heating coil for the model Gr-4?

Hi to all

One does not need new knobs. If you follow the dismantling process above, you will see a metal U shaped item around the knob

shaft on the inside of the unit. If you push this U Shaped item onto the knobs from the inside, it will clamp the knob and function as new.

The only thing I did extra was to put some crazy blue on the interface between the knob and the U item, to prevent the U item

from sliding toward the inside of the unit. By the way, one has to remove just the 4 Phillips screws under the lower griddle to lift the

heating element and the supporting plate. I also put some crazy glue between the 4 standoffs and the housing to prevent them

from tipping off while re-assembling.

Finally I am using a short extension cord with SWITCH, to turn the unit on and off, to minimize future failures by not turning the

unit ON with the center knob.

Sorry Gallileo, people want to turn on a countertop grill with the knob and not use crazy glue for any appliance that heats up. Cuisinart is a big fail with this.
