Where can I buy a replacement DKnight MagicBox II Motherboard ?

Francis Garvey -

My Charge Port is not working, do I need to replace the Motherboard or is there a fix for the charge port? Verified that the cable is good. It use to work if I wiggled and applied pressure to one side. Verified port is clean.

Where do you get the replacement motherboard?!

Tracie Yang -

I did the steps and the power still won't turn on. The blue light will turn on for a blink then nothing

rachelharris0528 -

mine is doing same thing. DKnight said they wont do anything because i bought it off Ebay and not Amazon.

Peter Tavella -

Same thing the blue light comes on for a second then goes out, my original problem was that it took a long time to turn on, then I sprayed contact cleaner on it to make it work better but now it only turns on for a second, I thought contact cleaner would help the switch not hurt it. Does anybody else have the same problem and also where do I get the motherboard ?!

I was shipped a broken item and already disassembled the motherboard but I cannot find a replacement motherboard anywhere online. Did anyone manage to find one?

Thanks for the disassembly instructions. I was able to fix my power switch by cleaning the contacts with some electrical contact cleaner. After I pulled the two halfs of the case open in step 4 I could spray the switch with some contact cleaner and it worked like a charm.

My original problem was that the power would randomly turn off and had a difficult time turning the unit on. I had to play with the switch toggle it on and off and sometimes it would work. The switch contacts were dirty and all it needed was some cleaning of the contacts.

Wilton -

I have same problem as Wilton of not powering the unit and I have to struggle with the power button until it can turn on. for me I cleaned all contacts but problem remains. Where can I get the board? That power button switch it very very cheap.

Javier Gonzalez -

I had a problem with a “cold soldering joint” on the board causing problems with charging. When the Micro USB charging cable was moved, this cause movement of the port and the circuit board and allowed the “cold soldering joint” to “disconnect.” I was able to clearly see the steps to safely disassemble the unit, gain access to the circuit board, and re-solder the faulty joint. Thank so much for the help!!!

I also would like to know where to get a new motherboard as the USB charging port is now defective.

I fixed mine by moving the on/off switch rapidly to clean the contacts without opening up the case and it came back to life. Before the power switch wasn’t doing anything and I couldn’t turn on the speaker anymore.

What is Dknight's battery type, and what is motherboard type ? I'm from Brazil and there is no IFIXIT store here
