Welcome to the DeWALT Hammer Drill DW511 trigger replacement guide. The trigger is an important part of the drill that tells the drill when to power up and which direction to drill. You would want to replace the trigger because of a trigger jam that happens inside the trigger mechanism.

Caution should be taken when working with on the device. It needs to be unplugged before working on any part of the drill.
