Use this guide to replace you USB board if you have determined that it is no longer working.

    • Make sure the display is closed. Then, flip the computer over so that you can see the bottom cover.

    • Loosen the two 5 mm Phillips #0 on the upper edge of the cover.

    • These screws will stay captive to the case.

  2. FCNAf33qgg3Fg6pv
    • Remove the two 5 mm interior screws that connect the cover to the assembly using the same Philips head screwdriver from the previous step.

  3. GkvxKq5IraJdRrBe
    • Use a spudger to remove the base cover from the rest of bottom cover.

As it is not clearly visible in the picture: You should start to open the base cover at the screen side, to avoid breaking the plastic guides of the base cover. A flat dough scraper is a pretty good tool for that.

    • Ground the system board by turning over the computer, opening the display, and holding the power button down for about 5 seconds before proceeding.

    • Using the pull tab on the battery, lift the battery out of the computer.

These instructions look as if you ground the board first and then remove the battery.

I think it should be the other way round. First, remove the battery. Secondly, ground the board.

I had problems open and close the clips for the Keyboard-cables. ^^ Any tips how to open and close? Thanks in advance.
