In this guide, we will be showing you how to remove and replace the Battery.

Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.
Remove the four screws (M2x3.0) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.
In my case, there was a (keyboard?) ribbon cable glued/stuck to the bottom of the battery.
I had to carefully lift it at an angle a blast it with a hair dryer for a while until it loosened.

Press and hold the power button for five seconds to ground the system board.
Align the screw holes on the NEW battery with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.
Replace the four screws (M2x3.0) that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.
Connect the battery cable to the system board.
