    • Slide the release latch to unlock the battery.

    • Lift the battery from the computer.

    • Remove battery.

    • Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the computer.

    • Lift the base cover to remove it from the computer.

    Two screws need to be removed. Before lifting, slide the base cover slightly towards the battery to release it.

    • To remove the mSATA SSD card: Remove the screw that secures the mSATA SSD card to the computer.

    • Disconnect the mSATA SSD card from the connector on the system board.
