Einleitung

If your Dell XPS 15 9560 is unable to connect to any wireless network, and no solution has been found by changing software settings or troubleshooting the router, the problem may lie in the wireless card. At these times, the wireless card may be damaged or faulty and a replacement is needed.

The wireless card is responsible for receiving a wireless network signal and allowing you to access the internet.

Before beginning, make sure the laptop is off and the laptop is disconnected from any power source.

    • Using a T5 Torx screwdriver, remove ten 4.0 mm screws from the back panel of the laptop.

    • Using a Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove two 5.0 mm screws underneath the XPS badge door.

    • Wedge the scribe between the backplate and remove the bottom base cover.

    • Using the Phillips #2 screwdriver, remove the single 4.0 mm screw securing the wireless card base to the motherboard.

    • Disconnect the wireless card cables from the wireless card.

    • Slide the wireless card out of its slot.
