Remove the dirty filter cage by twisting the filter towards the left.

The filter cage will be unlocked when the red dot matches the white thin circle.

Use the supplied filter cleaning brush or any other cleaning tool to vigorously scrub the soaked filter cage.

Be sure to remove all blockages.

Rinse and dry your filter cage.

Check that the filter cage is clean by holding it up to the light - you should be able to see light through it. If you can't, repeat the previous step.

Insert the filter back into the filter cage and install the filter cage back onto the device.

The filter cage will be locked when the red dot matches the white filled circle.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

My Dyson hair dryer has quitting every 30 seconds - apparently overheating. It was very easy to remove the filter cage and wipe the filter clean. Problem solved!
