EDCO PRO KL-18 Concrete Saw Throttle Cable Assembly Replacement

Chock the wheels to prevent the machine from moving while you are working on it.

Flip the ignition switches on the motor and the handle bar into their "OFF" positions.

Flip the fuel cutoff valve switch into the off position.

Grab the plastic housing at the end of the spark plug wire.

Pull firmly to disconnect the wire from the spark plug.

Unscrew the wing nut on top of the air cleaner cover.

Remove the air cleaner cover.

Use a short Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw securing the throttle cable holder.

Lift the throttle cable up to a vertical position and pull it straight up to remove it from the throttle control lever.

Grip the black throttle control knob and pull it straight up and off of the control lever to remove it.

Use a 7/16 inch socket with a 3/8 inch wrench to remove the two bolts and accompanying nuts securing the throttle control assembly from the handlebar.

Remove the throttle control assembly.
