-
Locate your water source from the back of the machine and turn it off.
-
Locate the power switch on the back right of the machine and turn it off.
-
Then unplug machine from the wall outlet.
-
-
-
On the right side of the machine, remove the three screws holding the panel on.
-
Once inside, locate the clean rubber drain hose.
-
-
-
Remove the plastic plug and drain water into a 5 gallon bucket or a drain. A hemostat would be useful to clamp the drain line before removing the plug to prevent any spillage.
-
When the machine is empty, reinsert the plug into the hose.
-
-
-
Locate the main up on the bottom left inside the machine. This will have two rubber hoses coming out of the top.
-
Carefully tilt the entire machine on its back and undo four bottom screws to release the pump from the body.
-
-
-
Disconnect the two wires from the pump at the male to female connections.
-
Unscrew the six screws around the pump to open the pump and pull the different sections apart, keeping track of orientation.
-
-
-
Locate the interior wheel of the pump. When the pump switches on, this turns and pumps water from the boiler to the spray head. This is usually stuck with scale or rust. Turn the wheel to the right and left until the scale cracks and the pump can spin freely.
-
-
-
Reassemble to pump in the correct orientation. The metal plate first, then the silicone gasket. It should seat perfectly when aligned correctly.
-
Attach the magnet to the pump housing and line up the screw holes of the six long philips screws you removed earlier
-
-
-
Screw the pump back together, making sure that the pieces align correctly and all screws are tight.
-
Tilt the coffee machine on its side again and insert the pump, aligning the screw holes.
-
Connect the two power leads, matching the colors of the wires.
-
Replace the four bottom screws to firmly attach the pump to the machine's frame.
-
-
-
Turn on water and power back to the machine and then switch it on.
-
You should hear the machine filling it's boiler with water.
-
Once the Ready light is solid red, try to brew coffee and celebrate that you fixed a stuck pump!
-
Look inside the side of the machine with the panel still off and check for leaks. Once clear, reattach the side panel with three screws.
-
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
