Trucks that are left in freezing weather can experience diesel gelling which causes the vehicle to not turn on. This repair will help as a guide to melt the gelled diesel back to a liquid and help the truck start properly. The vehicle that is used in this guide will be a 2008 Ford-250 truck, but the same concepts apply to all diesel vehicles.

    • Plug in your heat lamp and place the lamp under the truck, as this will also help heat the vehicle.

    • The heat lamp greatly increases the chance of the gelled diesel melting quicker.
