Einleitung
Trucks that are left in freezing weather can experience diesel gelling which causes the vehicle to not turn on. This repair will help as a guide to melt the gelled diesel back to a liquid and help the truck start properly. The vehicle that is used in this guide will be a 2008 Ford-250 truck, but the same concepts apply to all diesel vehicles.

Use an extension cord and plug it into the engine block heater which is located on the front bumper of the truck.

Pour 16 ounces of Gelled Diesel Additive to every 20 gallons of fuel directly into the tank using the funnel as shown.

Wait an hour for the Gelled Diesel Additive to activate. Then go inside the truck and try starting it by putting the key into the ignition.

After starting the truck, move the vehicle into a garage where there is a greater chance of warmth.

Plug in your heat lamp and place the lamp under the truck, as this will also help heat the vehicle.
