Is it waterproof afterwards?

TM M -

what are the battery specs? where can one be purchased?

Miguel Tenorio -

Looks like an 18650 battery with wires soldered to a plastic housing that connects the 2 poles. The battery is slightly thicker but I think it's the wrap around it to keep it as a single unit. Mine just went bad so I'm going to try to swap it out. I'll update if I'm Successful.

Update: Success! Worked beautifully. I'll put together some pix I took to wrap it up. If you kinda put it together and test it but the bass is all gone, give it a squeeze. Bass doesn't really show back up til you put screws back in.

What battery did you get? 18650? maH?

arudis4x I’m trying to replace too. What battery did you get please? And would you kindly know if the unit works without a battery installed? Thanks!

Tristan did you manage?

. hey everyone i pulled my old battery cause its dead and no the speaker wouldnt work even pluged in its a fugo tough from two and half years ago. here is what my battery had on it. 3.7v 8.70wh 2350mah. li-ion ploymer battery.

codes found vpn:up130034 M :AE1665001 . which means its a 16650 a 18650 would work i searched up130034 ae1665001 and it came up on Taobao a website in china thats like ebay. . Anyway i searched for two weeks did cross references and even wasted 12 e-mails to fugoo customer support. well the support did nothing and still wont respond.. so they are big losers . original has 5 wires two reds one white and two blacks. i carefully took the wrap and covers off to discover the two reds and two blacks are soldered to singe contacts. they want you to buy another speaker because there are no 5 wire battery packs that a cylindrical that will fit.a Harman Kardon onyx 2 3 wire battery and attach the original five wire to it by joing the wasted two reds and two blacks and . works fine.

Hey everyone, i need to add that customer support team did contact me. They actually are pretty cool. I should not have spoke bad about them because they sure helped me out. I want to extend a big thanks to Customer Support at Fugoo.. They went over and beyond my expectations.

Thanks, Rhett McCrady
