Does your computer die sooner than it did when you bought it? You may need to replace your battery as it might be damaged. This step-by-step guide will show you how to quickly and safely replace your battery for your Gateway NV59C66u laptop.

    • First turn off your laptop, close it, then turn your laptop over exposing the bottom side.

    • Locate the Latches below the battery.

    • Slide the vertical latch upward, unlocking the battery

    • Slide the horizontal latch to the right so you are able to remove the battery from the bottom of your laptop.

    • Place the old batter to the side, as to not get it confused from your new battery you intend to install.

    • Take your new battery and position it into the battery slot you took the old one out of.

    • Make sure latches are in the unlocked position and apply light pressure on the new battery to make sure it is in place.

    • Put latches in lock position and turn laptop over.

    • Turn on your computer.
