Electric mowers differ from motor mowers that require pulling the starter fast and requires strength, which can cause frustration. Electric mowers are much more efficient to start. However, the lever can often break as they are hollow and fragile. While the replacement is easy, there are not many guides available. This guide will give you a step by step to replace a lever and the ability to resolve the issue of the lever not moving smoothly.

    • Lift from the wire to line up the hook.

    • When the hook is lined, pull the wire from the lever.

    • The wire may get stuck, but do not pull the wire with resistance to avoid damage.

    • Move the wire away from the lever.

    • Ensure that the hook is still attached to the wire.

I have a Greenwork 40 volt electric mower. I start it up correctly (first push down the start button, and as it is pushed down, then pull back on the starter lever. Suddenly, it shuts off now after 1 or 2 seconds. This occurs repeatedly and the mower is not operational. The two batteries are fully charged. Any suggestions?
