Can The RAM in this machine run with anything more then just 2GB's? I am just wondering.

Marshall WahlstromHelgren -

This laptop can run even 8gb ram (2x4gb), the second slot is under the keyboard.

How many gb of ram should be put in the back….a 4gb  or can an 8gb ram be inserted in the back so you can not have to put any more under the keyboard if you wanted to just upgrade to 8 gb at one time or 4gb at one time and not ever have to buy 2gb, 4gb or 8gb.  answer me at natefoster@bellsouth.net.  I have in my HP6910p  a 2gb ram and a small 60 harddrive and the computer seems to be slow.  Do I need to increase the ram or the harddrive  or both.  Help me with this.  I am waiting too long to start the computer up.  It is a good computer. What should I do to get more speed.

where´s the second slot located?

Patrick Wirth -

It is under the keyboard. There a few youtube videos showing how to remove the keyboard and get to the second slot.
