Einleitung

If your HP ENVY 6055e printer has lost the ability to feed paper into the printer, you likely have a defective input tray. This guide will demonstrate how to replace the input tray of an HP ENVY 6055e printer. All you need for this guide is a T3 Torx Screwdriver, and you are ready to begin the replacement.

Make sure you have unplugged your device before you begin to repair it.

T3 Torx Screwdriver

Schritt 1

Flip the printer upside down.

Schritt 2

Slide the input tray open.

Schritt 3

Remove the six T3 Torx screws.

Schritt 4

Remove the right piece by lifting it up.

Schritt 5

Remove the left piece by lifting it with both hands.
The left piece has a small hook in the middle, so be careful not to break it.

Schritt 6

Locate two springs that are in the lower part of the printer.

Schritt 7

Remove the right spring by lifting from the black plastic piece.
Make sure the input tray is in the original closed place when putting back this piece.
