Einleitung

If your computer spends a lot of time rebooting, freezing, or shows the 'Blue Screen of Death', it is possible that your Random Access Memory (RAM) is to blame. A replacement will be necessary. Follow these steps after purchasing a new RAM to replace.

    • Locate the RAM on the bottom side of the laptop, the cover is secured by a 6 millimeter screw. Remove this with a Philips #1 screwdriver.

    • Underneath are the RAM boards. They are secured by two plastic clips each. Locate these to continue removal.

    • Place your thumbs on two of the clips securing one board. Push outwards on the clips. This should pop the board up.

    • Repeat on second board. When both are released, they should appear as they do in the picture.

    • The RAM should be easily removed once released from the plastic clips.
