Einleitung

Check to see if the indicator light at the top of the phone illuminates when plugged in. If the indicator light illuminates, the battery is likely at fault as it can no longer hold a charge (if this is the case, see the guide for battery replacement). If the indicator light does not illuminate when plugged in, the charging port may be faulty. The charging port, or printed circuit board (PCB board), can be replaced if the device if it is no longer responsive when plugged in.

    • Use the spudger to pry the back cover off.

    • Use spudger tool to pry under the battery to lift it up and out.

    • Remove eight 8.3mm T4 screws with the Torx screwdriver.

    • Pry the back panel of the screen using the plastic opener.

    • Work your way gently around the device, using picks as necessary to keep the back panel separated.

    • Use caution not to damage the device, as it takes force to remove the rear panel.

    • Disconnect wire going from the printed circuit board to the motherboard using the tweezers.

    • Using the plastic prying tool, pry the PCB device from the screen of the phone.
