Einleitung

Follow this repair guide if you need to replace the lever of your Heyday Suitcase Turntable.

If the tonearm does not raise or lower, the lever likely needs to be replaced.

Before beginning this repair, turn off the record player and unplug the power cord.

    • Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the four screws on each corner of the baseboard.

    • Use a metal spudger to pry the baseboard off of the case.

    • Be cautious of the cords and circuit located underneath the knob and the lever. Don't pull or yank the baseboard off.

    • Disconnect the cords from the circuit board.

    • Take a picture beforehand so it's easier to put them back during reassembly.

    • Remove the baseboard.

    • Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to remove the screw securing the plate that covers the lever.

    • Remove the plate blocking access to the lever.

    • Use a Phillips #1 screwdriver to remove the plate securing the lever.

    • Pull the lever out of the front of the device.
