This page will show and explain a complete disassembly of the Mini Cupcake Maker by Holstein Housewares, Model HM-09101R.
Make sure that the device has been fully unplugged for at least 30 minutes to ensure that it is fully cooled and will not cause any bodily harm.

Remove the two 9 mm screws from the foot of the device with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Pop the foot off.

Remove the three 9 mm screws from the main base cover of the device with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Gently lift the cover from the cupcake compartment to expose the heating element.

Open the device to reveal the main cupcake compartments.

Remove the two 13 mm screws from the top compartment with a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

Gently lift the compartment off of its cover and expose the second heating element.

These are the basics of how this mini cupcake maker should operate:

There is a constant flow of energy through the device as long as it is plugged in. There is no way to regulate the temperature or heating process other than plugging in and unplugging the entire device.

When the device is plugged in, the red light on the lid will turn on to indicate it is properly plugged in, and 493W are used to heat up the two heating elements (one in the base and one in the top).

There is an internal temperature regulator that will turn the light off to indicate to the user that the cupcakes are ready. It takes approximately 3 minutes for one batch of cupcakes to be ready.

There are no settings available on this device in order to regulate the heating or level at which the cupcakes are cooked.
