If the rear wheel of your Hover-1 Rally (model H1-RALY) scooter won’t spin, use this guide to replace it. The wheel may need replacing if it has worn down or rusted.

Before using this guide, inspect the wheel for debris that blocks rotation. The wheel may lock up if there is a buildup of dust, dirt, leaves, or sticks between the spokes. The spokes are straight rods connecting the wheel’s center to the outside circle. Simply dislodge the debris from the stokes of the wheel to fix this issue. If this is the issue, you do not need to replace the rear wheel.

Before removing the wheel, make sure to completely turn off the scooter.

    • Remove the 4 mm screw in center of the wheel with a 4 mm hex key.

    • Flip the scooter and remove the same size screw from the opposite side of the wheel.

The bit for the screwdriver is a hex/allen bit, not a Phillips.

You don’t need to specify which direction to turn the screwdriver to remove the screw.

    • Slide the plastic side piece off from both sides of the scooter.

    • Two 4 mm screws and 2 side panels are taken out.

Instead of remove say slide. It is more descriptive.

    • Use a 4 mm bit extension to push the axle out of the wheel’s center.

What is the size(diameter) of the axle?
