Einleitung
This guide shows not only how to remove Genesis bow strings, but how to replace them as well. It is so simple even beginner bow users can do it. I believe this guide is necessary because if not properly done it can cause damage to the bow and injuries to the people that use them. Sometimes strings can also just come off if dry fired or if they are moved in an unsecured case.
This guide helps to prevent injury and promote the continued use of the bow and strings. Strings are often thrown away when all they need to do is be reattached. Since they are different fibers they take decades to break down in landfills.

Familiarize yourself with each of the parts of the bow; Idle wheel, cam, and cable slide in that order.
-
-
-
Disassemble the bow by using inserting the 3/16th Allen wrench into the hole at the front of the bow.
-
Loosen each side by performing three counter-clockwise turns at the top, three counter-clockwise turns at the bottom, four counter-clockwise turns at the top, and then four counter-clockwise turns at the bottom. There should not be any tension left on the strings.

-
Take the black and red string off of the pegs of the cam. Then unhook the string from the idler wheel.
-
-
-
To reassemble, twist the two-sided black power cord. Twist it two times and the other side one time.
-
-
-
Spin the cam until the peg is showing on the inside towards the cable rod. Attach the black power cord to the peg. Make sure it is between the pegs when going through the cam as seen below.

Find the end with the longest-serving (the black part of your string) of your black and red string. It is the starting side. As seen in the image the top sting is the longest-serving because it does not have red intertwined. Attach it to the cam on the peg and wrap it around the groove between the limbs and feed it through.

-
Hook the string to the cam again by putting it between the bow with limbs up, around the idler wheel, under your cable rod, and over the limbs.
-
-
-
Check that all the strings are secure in the grooves on the cams. Do this by running your hand along the string making sure it is flat and tight unlike the above image.
