Imagine this, you are on a night out with your friends and your heels suddenly break off! You may end up just throwing the shoe out since glue never holds up well. This lifestyle is not sustainable since you have to spend so much money on new heels. In this guide, we will show people how to restore their heels to working order by tailoring them instead of just gluing them back on.

This guide is helpful as it can be wasteful to spend money on purchasing new shoes if the heel breaks. We want to make sure that everyone that wears heels feels comfortable walking around and are able to enjoy their time without worrying about wobbly shoes. A lot of people try to solve their heel problem with just glue, but from our experience and hearing from many others, glue just doesn’t last. We are introducing a repair guide that makes sure the heels stay on!

You may need to have experience with hand tools and mechanical repairs in order for this repair to work for you. If you have taken extracurriculars or coursework that require the use of tools and drills that would help you tremendously to complete this project.

    • Once the heel is broken off, use pliers to remove the four smaller 30 mm long, dia. 1.5 mm nails on the heel.

    • It’s alright if they bend and break. That is why we recommend buying extra nails.

    • Sand the heel down after removal of all the nails.

    • This will make the surface smoother for reattachment.
