Use this guide to open a Logitech MX Master 3 for cleaning or repair.

    • Before you begin, flip the mouse's power switch into the OFF position.

    • If you’re planning to reuse your existing mouse feet, note that the adhesive needs to be thoroughly heated to cleanly remove them.

    • Power off your mouse and flip it over.

    • Heat an iOpener and apply it to the left mouse foot for two minutes.

    • A hair dryer may also be used, but be careful not to overheat the mouse—the plastic body may warp or melt.

    • Slide an opening pick under an edge of the left mouse foot.

    • Go slowly, and make sure the pick is underneath both the foot and its adhesive layer if you want to reuse the foot. It's easy to separate the foot from its adhesive.

    • If the foot feels stuck, apply more heat before continuing.

    • Slide the pick under the rest of the foot until you can lift it off the mouse.

    • Remove the foot.

    • If the adhesive separated from the foot:

    • Slide the flat end of a spudger under an edge of the adhesive. If the adhesive seems stuck, you may need to heat the adhesive further.

    • Peel the adhesive off.

    • Before installing new feet or reinstalling old ones, wipe away any adhesive residue from the mouse with a lint-free cloth and high-concentration isopropyl alcohol.

    • Repeat the previous two steps to remove the right and the rear mouse feet.

  6. MCogRgBPW1AUM2mL
    • Remove the six screws securing the two halves of the mouse together:

    • Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove five 4.3 mm screws.

    • Use a T5 Torx driver to remove the 4.2 mm screw.

    • There are clips all around the perimeter of the mouse case holding the two halves together. It is easiest to pull them apart starting at the back of the mouse.

    • Don't completely separate the two halves yet—they're still tethered together by a delicate cable.

    • Grasp the mouse case at the back and pull the two halves apart slightly, so there's a gap at the back of the mouse.

    • Move one hand toward the front of the mouse and continue pulling the two halves straight apart.

    • As you reach the front of the mouse you will need to slide the base toward the front of the mouse (down in the photos) so that the two halves clear each other.

    • Some of the clips are particularly stubborn and may require some force to pull apart. Apply steady, slowly increasing pressure to force the halves away from each other.

    • Use the flat end of a spudger to gently lift the black sliding lock on the interconnect cable socket until it stops and the cable is no longer locked in.

    • Slide the interconnect cable out of its socket on the motherboard.

Hola. He roto el bloqueo deslizante. No encuentro ningún sitio donde lo vendan. ¿Alguien puede ayudarme? Gracias

    • Remove the top half of the mouse.

Is it possible to remove the (worn down) rubber surface on the upper part to replace it with something more durable (which is to be custom made then)?
