If the swiveling arm on your guitar's wall mount is hanging down and isn't responding to pressure like it normally does, this quick guide will show you how to fix it. Wall mounts are a stylish and secure way to display your stringed instruments, but less so if there's a risk of your favorite bass or guitar falling off the wall!
All that you need is a Phillips #2 screwdriver and a few minutes of your time.

If the swivel mechanism on the arm of your guitar wall mount is hanging down and isn't responding to pressure, odds are the arm has become disengaged from the gears.

Remove the two 6.5 mm screws from the mount with a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

Remove the whole mount from the wall.

Insert the arm's shaft inside the marked circle.

Make sure that the gears in the bracket are aligned.

Screw your mount back onto the wall, and you're good-to-go!
